And here it is GServo Biking, what I call 'a hobby for my health'. Bicycling is one of my most recent ‘things to do.’ It has been amusing since I got my ‘Giant: Brass 1” From Diamond Bicycle in Montclair NJ. There appears to be something that I enjoy about this that I can’t explain. I’ve been gradually building up my bicycle riding stamina hanging out with my friend iZatherez ( a fellow writer (if he gets off his ass and writes some more ) on this very site.) My wife agrees it be been very beneficial to me. I get up at the blasphemous time of 4:30 am just to get a quick fifteen to twenty minute outing, as much as possible.
The Great thing about biking is that when done right, it’s an effective form of aerobic exercise with many health benefits. Cycling can burn the calories in a chocolate bar or a couple of alcoholic drinks in one hour, 300 calories. Translated into contemporary lifestyle terms, a fifteen-minute bike ride, five times and a week, burns off 11 pounds of fat a year and meets the necessities for reducing heath risk and crying Havoc , letting slip the Mecha dogs of war against fat cells of doom . Also if you’re apprehensive about weight gain from drinking too much beer, it’s a good way to balance things out.
Simply put, Time on a bike will ease of your beer calories. And Beer can be Better than Water after Exercise. A pint of beer post-workout is better at rehydrating the human body than water. ( You can read more here on exercise and beer here)
