I took time on Sunday to look at some art . The South Orange & Maplewood Artists Studio Tour, presented by The Pierro Gallery of South Orange and 1978 Maplewood Arts Center , featured over 50 artists local to the area. There were too many artist to get through in one day, so we had to pick and choose who we wanted to see. The few I did get to see were pretty nice. I did not take too many pictures of them or their art as to respect their intellectual properties. The Artist I did get to visit were, Thea Clark, Mark Chiarello, Amie Goad, Rick Parker,all the art at ‘ ‘Express Yourself’ and The Baird Center. All showing fine examples of photography, water color, 3d Computer art and Clay Pottery. The Artist were all friendly and took the time to chat.
The South Orange and Maplewood Artist Studio Tour was a well thought-out occasion with a lot of welcoming people out enjoying the weather and admiring the art.
